Arts & Leisure Tours (A&L) is licensed in Ontario (registration #4617965 and #04175246). A&L makes arrangements with airlines, coach companies, transfer operators, hotels and other independent parties to provide you with the travel services you purchased. Although A&L takes great care in selecting these suppliers, A&L is unable to and does not have any control over them and therefore cannot be responsible for their acts or omissions. The travel services provided are subject to the Travel Industry Act (Ont.) and regulations hereunder and are subject to the conditions imposed by the suppliers and their liability is limited by their tariffs, conditions of carriage, tickets and vouchers and international conventions and agreements. A&L shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury, whether physical or mental, resulting from any delay, substitution of equipment, or any act, omission, negligence or commission of any party supplying any of the services or accommodations herein, its agents, servants, employees, subcontractors, or for any claims for such loss, damage or injury, whether physical or mental, arising therefrom, or from any cause that arises by reason of actions of parties other than A&L, including act of terrorism or act of war. A&L has the right to cancel or modify a tour or travel service you have purchased by substituting services or varying the itinerary. In the event of a cancellation, our liability will be limited to the purchase price of the travel service only and we shall not be liable for any claims, demands, losses and damages of any nature or kind.
Reservation will be confirmed only upon receipt of 30% deposit. Final payment is due 45 days before departure. Form of payment accepted is cheque and the following major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Your authorization to use your credit card for payment indicates your compliance with our booking terms and conditions.
Any changes on land packages after final payment are subject to an administration fee.
All cancellations must be made in writing to Arts & Leisure Tours.
All customized itineraries are quoted in CAD or USD based on the current rate of exchange at time of deposit. Should the currency increase above 7% a supplement will apply.
The following charges will be assessed if cancellation is received:
Up to 45 day prior to departure – An administration fee will apply
44 – 21 days prior to departure 50% of total cost per person
20 – 0 days prior to departure 100% of total cost per person
Cancellations received more than 3 days prior to departure – $50 per car or 10% of total cost whichever is greater.
Cancellations received less than 3 days prior to departure or no shows – $50 plus one day’s rental cost or 10% of total cost whichever is greater. Unused days are non-refundable.

Refund requests must be received in writing within 30 days of the date of travel.
You must notify A&L by registered mail of any claim you may have or claim to have against A&L within 20 days from the event giving rise to the claim. Should you not file a written complaint within 20 days from the end of your vacation you will be presumed to be satisfied with the services received and to have waived any and all claims that you may have had against A&L. A&L will not respond to any claims or demands made after the expiration of the 20 day delay. You may not commence any legal proceeding against A&L unless you have submitted a notice as set out above. Under no circumstances shall A&L be liable to you for an amount in excess of the total amount paid to A&L for your vacation.
Accommodations will be provided in hotels mentioned in the brochure or similar category. Guests should be aware that hotels and services vary according to different living standards in various countries. Hotels are classified by industry standards and local government ratings. A&L reserves the right to make substitutions with hotels of similar or higher ratings.
Rate may not include mandatory road tax, service charges, and registration fees. Service fees may apply for all car rentals (except Italy) at airports, downtown & rail stations. Fees are subject to change without notice. Drivers must have a valid driver licence held for at least 2 years prior to rental. International driving permit is mandatory.
Quotes do not include gratuities, local city taxes, items of personal nature, meals and drinks (unless specified) telephone calls, wines, liquors, mineral water, soft drinks after dinner coffee or tea, travel insurance.
Travel documents will be sent 14 – 21 days prior to departure for all countries to be visited.
It is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain, at his own expense, all documentation required by all relevant government authorities. In the event that the passenger does not obtain the required documentation, he/she will be denied boarding by the air carrier or refused entry into the country of destination. No refund will be made under such circumstances.
A&L strongly urges passengers to purchase travel insurance prior to departure for their own protection in case of illness or unforeseen circumstances. Insurance maybe purchased at time of booking from your travel Agent or A&L.
