Itinerary

Day 1 - Prague Arrival

Upon your arrival to Václav Havel Airport, meet your driver for your transfer to your hotel in central Prague. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Prague.

 

Day 2 - Prague

This morning meet your driver and guide in the hotel lobby and set out to explore the medieval city of Prague. During this amazing tour, you will visit the State Opera, the National Museum and Wenceslas square with the statue of St. Wenceslas. You will also visit the old city with its Jewish quarter and the old town square with monuments such as the Týn church, the St. Nicholas church, the town hall and astronomical clock. Next, drive to Terezin Concentration Camp, approximately 50 minutes north of the city of Prague. Your guide will show you the concentration camp and you will hear authentic recollections of former inmates. At the end of your tour, your driver and guide will escort you back to your hotel. Day 3 - Prague

Today with your driver and guide, head one hour east of the city to the Pilsner Urquell Brewery in Pilsen. Your guide will explain the unique method of brewing Pilsner Urquell beer, which is identical to the method introduced in 1842 by Josef Groll. You can have a look at the new bottling facility, which can handle 120,000 bottles per hour, and the “heart of the brewery”, a modern brewing facility from 2004. At the end of your tour, meet your driver and return to your hotel. Overnight in Prague.

Day 4 - Prague to Salzburg

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer to your hotel in Salzburg. Upon your arrival in Salzburg, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 5 - Salzburg

Enjoy a half day walking tour to explore the city of Salzburg. Discover the beauty of Mozart´s birth place on a walk with your experienced guide through the UNESCO designated city of Salzburg and be enchanted by its flair. You will also visit the Hohensalzburg Fortress. Once at the fortress, highlights include the medieval princely chambers as well as a fortress museum, which boasts a fascinating display of objects plucked from the courtly lifestyle of the prince-archbishops. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 6 - Salzburg

This morning meet your driver-guide in the hotel lobby and depart past the Austrian-German border to Obersalzberg. There you will change into special buses fitted with specific engines and brakes to take you up the 6.5 km long, 4 m wide and 22% uphill grade road to the Eagle’s Nest. From the plateau you will have a breath-taking view of the Bavarian and Austrian Alps. After your visit to the Eagle’s Nest, your driver-guide will escort you back towards Salzburg to the Untersberg Cable Car. As you step out of the lift, you will be greeted by imposing views that stretch out to the far horizon. At the end of your visit, your driver-guide will escort you back to your hotel. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 7 - Salzburg to Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Check out of your hotel and meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer to your hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Upon your arrival in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, check in to your hotel.

This afternoon take the cog wheel train from Zugspitze station Garmisch-Partenkirchen to the idyllic Lake Eibsee. The ascent with the Cable car Zugspitze offers spectacular views down to the lake, before new horizons open with a powerful panorama at the Zugspitze Peak. A well-rounded trip! Overnight in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Day 8 - Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Munich

Check out of your hotel and meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer to your hotel in Munich. En route, enjoy a visit to Linderhof Palace and Neuschwanstein Castle. Linderhof Palace and its surrounding park is one of the most artistic and stylistically complex ensembles of the 19th century. Next, visit Neuschwanstein, Germany’s most famous castle, built by Ludwig II, the notorious “mad king “, known for his striking personality and eccentricities. Upon your arrival in Munich, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Munich.

Day 9 - Munich

Today you will enjoy a walking tour of Munich Old Town and the History of Beer Brewing. Not only the history of the beer and the associated historical places will be brought closer to you but also entertaining, quite interesting anecdotes about beer will be told throughout the tour. Whether at the Augustiner Bräu, in the Schneider Bräu Haus or in the famous Hofbräuhaus, the development of the beer reflect in all these historical buildings as you are guided through through the historic quarter. In addition, you will be served different beers and fresh pretzels while also being taught all about hops and malt. You will also visit the Beer Museum. Overnight in Munich.

Day 10 - Munich

This morning meet your driver and guide in the hotel lobby and drive 30 minutes south of Munich to Ayinger Brewery. You will be able to see behind the scenes of one of Europe’s most advanced breweries. Discover the secret of Ayinger’s multiple award winning and acclaimed beer specialties. You will also enjoy a two hour visit of all areas of production, filling and delivery, and of course, enjoy a tasting of Ayinger’s specialties. At the end of your tour, your driver and guide will escort you back to your hotel in Munich. Overnight in Munich.

Day 11 - Munich Departure

This morning after breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer to Munich International Airport for your departure flight.
