Day 1 - Amsterdam Arrival

Upon your arrival to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, meet your driver in the arrival’s hall for your transfer to your hotel in central Amsterdam.

This afternoon meet your guide in the hotel lobby and set out to explore the city of Amsterdam on foot. During this walking tour, you will cover the highlights of the old city, including the canal zone, the flower market, Dam Square, the Begijnhof, the Red-Light district and the medieval part of the city. Along the way you will learn about the history of Amsterdam and its place in Europe and the world, particularly during the Golden Age in the 17th century. Your local guide will also give you recommendations for the best places to shop, eat and sight-see during your stay in Amsterdam.  Overnight in Amsterdam.

Day 2 - Amsterdam

This morning meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your day tour. Experience an iconic landscape of fishing villages, windmills and craftsmen’s shops on a tour from Amsterdam into the Dutch countryside. Visit a series of traditional, restored windmills in Zaanse Schans, and walk the dikes and harbor of Volendam, a pretty port lined with bright houses and sailboats. Sample locally made cheeses and Dutch schnapps, then enjoy sweeping views of the landscape during the return trip to Amsterdam. Overnight in Amsterdam.

Day 3 - Amsterdam

Today you will meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer to your day tour. Day 7 - Munich

This morning meet your guide in your hotel lobby and set out to explore the city of Munich on foot. Discover the more than 8 centuries of history of the Bavarian capital in just three hours – all during a walking tour! Munich, home to the famous Oktoberfest, is also one of the most important cities to understand the history and culture of the German people. Starting at the Karlstor, passing by the church St. Michael, where are the remains of “Mad King”, the Marienplatz square with the City Hall and its famous carillon, the Frauenkirche and many other attractions of the historic center. Overnight in Munich.

Day 8 - Munich

This morning after breakfast meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your day trip to the two gems of the Bavarian Alps: Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace. Your expert guide provides commentary about the history and significance of the Bavaria region and its attractions. Your first stop is Linderhof Palace, a small palace built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria. Though inspired by France’s Versailles Palace, Linderhof’s interior is actually rather private and humble, as you’ll see on your 1-hour guided tour, but head to the surrounding gardens and you’ll discover why they’re considered among the most beautiful in the world, combining elements of Baroque, Italian Renaissance and English styles. Continue driving along famous Romantic Road to the foot of majestic Neuschwanstein Castle. Before hiking up the hill for your guided tour of the castle, you can either have lunch or set out for Mary’s Bridge (Marienbrücke), the best spot for postcard views of the castle. Today Neuschwanstein is an architectural icon; in fact, it inspired Disney’s Sleeping Beauty and closely resembles Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland! Overnight in Munich.

Day 9 - Munich to Salzburg

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the Munich HBF train station (short walk from the hotel).

Day 10 - Salzburg

This morning, meet your guide at your hotel and set out to explore Salzburg’s charming Old Town on foot. Salzburg is the fourth largest city in Austria. The city offers the perfect combination of a picturesque mountain setting and a beautifully preserved old town. The historic center is dominated by many church spires, medieval fortresses and the magnificent Hohensalzburg Fortress. The spirit of Mozart still permeates the city. Visit the Mirabell Palace, the famous Getreidegasse, the Cathedral, the Palace and Horse Fountain. Tourists from around the world also flock to Salzburg to visit locations from the movie The Sound of Music. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 11 - Salzburg

Meet your driver at your hotel and head outside of Salzburg to the scenic Salzkammergut Lake District. With its beauty and unparalleled nature, the Lakes District accommodated Emperor Franz Joseph and his family for summer holidays. Your first stop will be in Fuschl, where the former Prince Archbishops held royal hunts. The former hunting palace Fuschl accommodates one of the most exclusive hotels of the world. Your drive will then go to St. Gilgen at Lake Wolfgang where Mozart’s mother was born. Here we will enter the boat and have a nice trip on the lake to St. Wolfgang. Enjoy the breath-taking view during the ride over the glass clear Lake Wolfgang. In St. Wolfgang you will see the winged Gothic altar by Michael Pacher, and we will show you the world-famous hotel “White Horse Inn”. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 12 - Salzburg to Prague

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver outside your hotel for your transfer to the Salzburg HBF train station.

Upon your arrival to the Prague Train Station, meet your driver for your transfer to your hotel in central Prague. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure in Prague. Overnight in Prague.

Day 13 - Prague

This morning meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your day tour. During this tour you will discover the “City of Gold”. View the State Opera, the National Museum and Wenceslas square with the statue of St. Wenceslas. In the Prague Castle area, admire the Archbishop’s Palace, St. Vitus Cathedral and the Royal Palace. Also visit the old city with its Jewish quarter and the old town square with several lovely monuments, such as the Týn church, the St. Nicholas church and the town hall and astronomical clock. Overnight in Prague.

Day 15 - Prague Departure

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver outside your hotel for your transfer to Prague Airport. This concludes your trip!
