Itinerary

Day 1 - Naples to Positano

Welcome to Italy! Upon your arrival to the Naples Airport, meet your driver for your transfer to your hotel in Positano. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Positano.

Day 2 - Positano

After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and depart for your day tour. You will take a direct hydrofoil from Sorrento to Capri. Upon arrival, meet your driver to be transferred to Anacapri for a visit of the center including Villa San Michele. Afterwards, visit Capri and walk through the little streets with shops, hotels and restaurants. Enjoy some free time in Umberto I° where you can relax and taste a cocktail in a bar or two. Transfer back to Capri port for your hydrofoil to Sorrento. Overnight in Positano.

Day 3 - Positano to Rome

Check out of your hotel and meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer to the Naples Train Station.

Upon your arrival in Rome, meet your driver for your transfer to your hotel. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Rome.

Day 4 - Rome

Begin your day with a visit to the Colosseum. Your guide will explain the history of Rome and introduce you to some of the most notorious Roman emperors. Also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, the Colosseum is one of the most famous monuments in the world; it was used for gladiatorial fights (murena), wild animal hunts (venationes) and, with the arena filled with water, simulated sea battles (naumachiae). The Palatine Hill is where the city of Rome was founded and the place that became the most exclusive neighbourhood where emperors and patrician families built opulent palaces. The Roman Forum was for centuries the center of Roman public and economic life, where the most important structures of the ancient city were located. Overnight in Rome.

Day 5 - Rome

This morning meet your driver in the hotel lobby and depart for your tour of the Vatican. Following your knowledgeable and passionate guide, the tour begins at the Vatican Museums and includes the Maps Gallery, the Candelabra Gallery, the Tapestries Gallery and the Sistine Chapel . From the Museum you will exit directly into St Peter’s Basilica where you will admire, among others, Michelangelo’s masterpiece La Pietà and the impressive Baldachin Altar by Bernini. Your tour ends in St. Peter’s Square, dominated by Michelangelo’s imposing Cupola and surrounded by the famous Bernini’s double Colonnade. Overnight in Rome.

Day 6 - Rome to Venice

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver for your transfer to Rome Termini Station.

Upon your arrival at Venice Santa Lucia Station, meet your driver for your transfer to your hotel. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Venice.

Day 7 - Venice

Meet your guide in the lobby for a guided visit of the historical centre of the city including St. Mark’s Square, the Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Prisons and Bridge of Sighs. Your walk unfolds through the elegant Piazza San Marco, surrounded by the governmental buildings of the ancient Republic such as Doge’s Palace, the basilica bell tower and the famous clock tower. This was, in fact, the political, religious and cultural centre of it all. Enter the shining golden basilica of Saint Mark’s, one of the most incredible Christian buildings ever built. Starting from the year 828, it was rebuilt several times and went through a succession of ever-increasingly elaborate renovations. When you enter the Basilica your eyes will be drawn to the vast amount of decorations and mosaics. The Doge’s Palace, a masterpiece of gothic architecture, was once the residence of the doge and today is a museum. Both are definitely a must-see! Afterwards, you will embark on a gondola for a fascinating ride on the Grand Canal. Overnight in Venice.

Day 8 - Venice

This morning meet your driver in the hotel lobby and depart for your tour of Murano & Burano. After a short drive you will arrive in Murano, where you can visit one of the famous glass factories in Europe. Once you finished the visit of the factory you will depart for Burano. Here you will find a little street full of typical shops, restaurants and excellent bakeries where you can buy the famous “Buranelli” biscuits. Overnight in Venice.

Day 9 - Venice to Paris

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer to the Venice Airport.

Upon your arrival at the Paris Airport, meet your driver for your transfer to your hotel. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Paris.

Day 10 - Paris

Day 11 - Paris

This morning after breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your tour of Normandy D-Day Beaches. Enjoy a full day excursion from Paris to the D-Day Beaches in Normandy in the company of an official guide, who will bring these historic sites to life. You will have the chance to see everyday objects from life under occupation, maps, and models of military vehicles, as well as film screenings that recreate the emotions of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. Lunch is included at the restaurant in the Caen Memorial Museum. In the afternoon, your tour will continue to several of the iconic landmarks that played a part in the landings. Your first stop will be at the Pointe du Hoc, overlooking the hundred-foot-high cliffs between Utah and Omaha beaches. You will then visit the famous American Cemetery at Saint Laurent, located just above Omaha Beach, near the town of Colleville-sur-Mer. Following this visit, you will stop at Arromanches, a historic town known for its artificial port, which was built to assist the Normandy landings. Overnight in Paris.

Day 12 - Paris Departure

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver for your transfer to the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
