Itinerary

Day 1 - Athens

Welcome to Greece! Upon arrival at the Athens airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Check in and freshen up before your afternoon food tour.

You will enjoy a chance to join the Athenians in their everyday life and experience a tasty slice of true modern Greek culture and delicious eating habits. You will enjoy a walk through the bustling Varvakios vegetable, fish & meat market where you will also visit one of the most beautiful spice stores on Evripidou street. You will have a chance to explore the rich Greek culinary tradition, learn about the provenance of the foods tasted and influences from the East and the West to Greek cuisine. Your culinary walk takes you to carefully selected specialty food stores, to taste: Koulouri (sesame bread), Extra virgin olive oils, Cheese, Wine, Honey, specialty vinegar, Pastourmas cured meat, Cream-filled pie (bougatsa), Greek donuts (loukoumades), Souvlaki and Greek sweets. You will visit  Monastiraki, Psiri and the Central Market area.

Day 2 - Athens

Your driver will meet you in the lobby and set out to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. You will see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896. Continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament & the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library and the Constitution Square (Syntagma). You will then head to the Acropolis to visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens. Overnight in Athens.

Day 3 - Athens to Mykonos

This morning after breakfast, meet your driver in the lobby for your transfer to Athens Pier.

Board your ferry from Athens to Mykonos.

Upon arrival at the Mykonos Pier, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure, on the beach or exploring the lively Mykonos town! Overnight in Mykonos.

Day 4 - Mykonos

Today you will meet your driver in the hotel lobby. You will then board your ferry to arrive at Delos from Mykonos. Delos was the centre of the Cyclades of the ancient world, the island of light, birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, and home to the first multicultural civilization and trade. Delos boasts of many treasures remaining from these times like the ancient market place Agora, the famous terrace of the Naxos lions, the holy lake, the ancients living quarters and theater that gives you a lively vision of the daily life then. At the end of your day you will be taken back to your accommodation in Mykonos. Overnight in Mykonos.

Day 5 - Mykonos to Santorini

This morning after breakfast, meet your driver in the lobby for your transfer to Mykonos Pier.

Board your ferry from Mykonos to Santorini

Upon arrival meet your private driver that will take you to your hotel. Overnight in Santorini.

Day 6 - Santorini

Today you will set sail with a traditional sailing boat for the lava islet of Nea Kameni. Disembark and walk an ascending soil path to approach the crater of the still active Volcano. On return to the boat, we set sail for the second lava islet called Palea Kameni, where we find its Hot Springs and have a chance to swim in the green sulfur waters and get the chance to heal any ailments in its therapeutic waters! Overnight in Santorini.

Day 7 - Santorini

You will meet your driver in the hotel lobby and set off to discover one of the most important archeological sites in the world, the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri (the so-called “Prehistoric Pompeii”), buried by the volcanic ashes during the 17th century BC and remained alive for 3500 years beneath the lava. Stop for an amazing view of the Caldera of Santorini, the Volcano of Santorini, Thirassia and Aspronisi islands. Visit the Black Beach of Perissa, one of the longest beaches in the Cyclades and the most popular black sand beach in Santorini. Enjoy free time for swimming & good food in one of the restaurants, taverns, cafes or beach bars. You will then walkthrough one of the most traditional villages of the island, Emborio village. Enjoy the beautiful panorama from the highest mountain of Santorini, Prophet Elias (565m high), and take pictures of this striking view of the entire island. Enjoy the fantastic sunset from the beautiful and picturesque village of Oia, the most photographed place in Greece, known throughout the world for its quiet life, unique architecture and inspiring ambient.

Day 8 - Santorini Departure

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer to Santorini Airport.
