Itinerary

Day 1 - Palermo to Sciacca

Upon arrival meet your driver in the arrival hall for your private transfer to your accommodation in Sciacca. Overnight in Sciacca.

Day 2 - Sciacca

This morning meet your driver at your hotel and depart for a 6 hour tour of Palermo. Visit the Cappella Palatina and Monreale which was Built in 1130, the same year in which King Roger II acceded to the throne of the Norman kingdom. The Cappella Palatina is a small, compact masterpiece famous for its Byzantine mosaics hidden away inside the Royal Palace. Overnight in Sciacca.

Day 3 - Sciacca

This morning meet your driver at your hotel for your transfer to the Valley of the Temples. Once you arrive, meet your guide for a visit of the Archaeological Park of Agrigento at the Valley of the Temples, a place where time seems to have stopped. You will visit all the iconic temples such as Juno, Concord and Castor & Pollux. Then enjoy a cannolo tasting in a local pastry shop before heading back to your hotel. Overnight in Sciacca.

Day 4 - Sciacca to Taormina

Check out of your hotel and meet your driver in your hotel lobby for your transfer to Taormina. En route to your accommodation you will stop in the beautiful city of Ragusa. This amazing city is famous for its jaw-dropping Baroque architecture, as most of the old town dates to 1693. Overnight in Taormina.

Day 5 - Taormina

This morning meet your guide in the lobby for a walking tour of Taormina. You will admire the legendary Greek theater, remarkable for both its incredible state of preservation and for its breathtaking view. You will also visit the Gulf of Naxos, Mount Etna, and discover the antiquarian, where Greek inscriptions testify to the city’s ancient origins. You will then head to the nearby village of Castelmola. Here, you will enjoy a taste of the celebrated local almond wine and delectable Sicilian sweets in a local bar in the picturesque Piazzetta del Duomo. Overnight in Taormina.

Day 6 - Taormina

Meet your driver at your hotel and depart for your private excursion to Catania and Mount Etna. Explore Mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe. Discovering Mount Etna is one of the greatest adventure tours in Sicily, not only for the volcanic phenomena but also for the different kinds of vegetation visible during the ascent. After visiting the 2,000-meter (6,000 ft) area of the Silvestri Craters, where four major craters lie, you will then enjoy a light lunch in a local Etna Doc Winery before returning to your accommodation. Overnight in Taormina.

Day 7 - Taormina

Today you will meet your driver in your hotel lobby and enjoy a full day tour of Siracusa and Noto. The central Archaeological Park Neapolis comprises the Roman Amphitheaters, the Teatro Greco and the Orecchio di Dionisio, a limestone cave shaped like a human ear. The extension of the old city is the island of Ortigia packed with over 2,500 years of history. In the afternoon, continue to Noto where you will have a tour of this charming town and taste some local sweets at Caffè Sicilia. Once your tour is over your driver will take you back to your accommodation. Overnight in Taormina.

Day 8 - Taormina Departure

Check out of the hotel and meet your driver in the lobby for your transfer to Catania Airport.
