Itinerary

Day 1 - Lisbon Arrival

Upon your arrival, meet your driver for your transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Lisbon.

Day 2 - Lisbon

This morning after breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby that will take you to discover the beauties of Lisbon. One of the first sights you will see, is the April 25th Suspension Bridge, sister to the Golden Gate, and the towering Christ the King Statue. You will venture through the main squares and avenues with a short walking tour in the old district of Alfama, St. Jorge Castle, then continue to Rossio, Chiado and Bairro Alto. In the afternoon head to Belém where you will visit the Jeronimos Monastery, the Tower of Belém and taste the famous “Pasteis de Belém” Lisbon’s pastry delicassen. Overnight in Lisbon.

Day 3 - Evora

This morning meet your driver and guide in the hotel lobby for your day tour. Depart from Lisbon to Evora, crossing the Tagus River, and travel through the beautiful and bucolic landscape of olive, cork oak trees and vineyards. Your first stop will be the quaint village of Arraiolos, where you will view the white immaculate houses framed with blue or yellow stripes. Continue to Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you will enjoy a traditional local lunch before your sightseeing begins. In the narrow streets of the whitewashed town, your walking tour will visit some of the most important monuments; the Roman Temple, the Romanesque Gothic Cathedral, Saint Francis Church with the “Bones Chapel,” and the local university. Your tour concludes upon arrival to Lisbon. Overnight in Lisbon.

Day 4 - Sintra

Today after breakfast meet your driver-guide in the hotel lobby for your tour. Today you will experience a tour rich in gastronomy and culture. You will also dine at a Michelin Star restaurant as well as witnessing the charming UNESCO heritage mountain town of Sintra! Leaving Lisbon, enjoy the drive along the scenic coastal road passing through Estoril and Cascais, Portugal’s first premier seaside resorts. Arrive at one of Europe’s most beautiful seafront locations, Hotel Fortaleza do Guincho, an imposing fortress built in the 17th century. It sits on a rocky crest overlooking the ocean, this is the location of the Michelin star restaurant. Chef Antoine Westermann will prepare a gourmet lunch of his distinguished French cuisine with Portuguese accents inspired by his mother’s cooking paired with the best wines from the country. There will be some free time for exploring the town. Relax on the scenic drive to Lisbon. Overnight in Lisbon

Day 5 - Lisbon to Portimao

This morning after breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer from Lisbon to Portimao.

Upon your arrival in Portimao, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

This morning after breakfast meet your guide in the hotel lobby. Today you will learn about wine production in the region and taste some of the finest samples. Ascend the mountain range to a restaurant in the town of Monchique, where you will have a traditional Portuguese lunch accompanied by epic views. Among your first stops will be visits to Quinta do Francês and Quinta do Morgado da Torre wineries. Here you will enjoy wine tasting of three wines from each winery. Next, you will visit the top of the Monchique Mountains. This is the highest point of southern Portugal, where on clear days it is possible to see the amazing view over the entire Algarve and Portuguese coastlines, up until the Arrábida Mountains, located near Lisbon. After ascending the mountain side, you will Indulge in a lovely lunch in a top-quality restaurant in Monchique, with an awe-inspiring view of the esplanade. Overnight in Portimao.

Day 7 - Portimao to Lisbon

This morning after breakfast check out of your hotel and meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer from Portimao to Sagres.

Upon your arrival in Lisbon check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8 - A dos Cunhados

This morning after breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your tour of Areias Do Seixo. Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, meet your driver for your transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 10 - Marrakech

This morning after breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and depart for your day tasting tour. Visit three different food souks allowing the chance to try traditional Moroccan street food including dried meats, milawi, harsha, briwats, spicy sardines, spicy potato cakes, soups, olives and more. Taste the world of spices, their uses and the secrets of the male-oriented domain of the tea den under the guidance of a culinary leader and storyteller. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 11 - Marrakech

Today after breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel lobby to depart for your cooking class. En route you will stop at an eco-garden for the class. Your cookery experience takes place amongst hectares of olive groves and vegetable gardens in the Berber countryside in the verdant Amezmize Valley. You will have the chance to spend the morning exploring the gardens and orchards of the beautiful properties, learning about traditional cultivation techniques and choosing the ingredients with which you will later prepare an authentic two course Moroccan meal, helped by well reputed local chefs that will share with you some of their secrets. Day 12 - Marrakech Departure

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver in the hotel lobby for your transfer to the Marrakech airport.
