Palazzo Dama, the 5-star hotel designed by architect Antonio Girardi in the heart of Rome, occupies the ancestral home of the Malaspina family, who have retained their ownership of the building. Architect Girardi, who supervised the renovation project in its entirety, has created 29 rooms and suites on three floors, decorated in shades of avion blue, sage green and taupe, the signature colourways of the entire property, set off by glittering brass detailing and furnishings. The private garden is the hotel’s gift to guests, featuring a swimming pool in the center of this exclusive green area. Guests’ privacy is ensured naturally by olive and lemon trees that surround the entire perimeter. The Bar, which reflects the hotel’s eclectic style, offers signature cocktails created by bartender Giammarco Laghi, to enjoy in unique spaces lit by the original chandeliers that once hung in New York’s Hotel Plaza, while surrounded by valuable works of art in this hideaway characterized by pure aesthetics.
