World Heritage Cities of Spain

Day 1 and 2 - Cuenca
Pick up your rental car in Madrid today and drive east to Cuenca, famed for its hanging houses and magnificent churches. Enjoy the wild and rocky countryside cut with huge gorges. Explore the maze of tiny streets in the old town, the fantastic view from the castle and the incredible Museum of Abstract Art.

Day 3 - Segovia
En route, stop for lunch in Alcala’, the native city of Cervantes, a town of lovely streets, palaces and convents. Continue to Segovia, where every corner and street will surprise
and delight you.

Day 4 and 5 Avila
The walls, Alcazar and gates shelter an incredible heritage from the 11th to the 17th C. Avila is filled with history on every street. Spend two days enjoying the city.

Day 6 and 7 - Salamanca
As you approach you will see the city rising on the banks of the River Tormes. Walk towards the centre of the baroque main square and allow yourself to be seduced by its beauty and harmony. Explore the outstanding Renaissance buildings and the
important University. The city is reputed to have some of the best nightlife in Spain!

Day 8 - Madrid
Return your rental car to Madrid and add a few days to enjoy this cosmopolitan city.
