Day 1 - Palermo

Day 2 - Erice
Pick up your rental car and drive to Monreale, just outside Palermo to visit its celebrated 12th century Abbey with magnificent mosaics. Drive on to the magnificent Greek temple at Segesta, one of the best-preserved classical Greek sites in the world. Then explore
the hilltop medieval village of Erice.

Day 3 - Marsala, Agrigento
Motor south along the coastal road and stop to sample the varieties of Marsala wine in this delightful seaside town. Your route continues through the fertile Belice Valley to the Greek site of Selinunte.

Day 4 - Valley of the Temples, Noto
Spend the morning in Agrigento, visiting one of the finest ancient Greek sites in the world, the Valley of the Temples and the fascinating upper town. Continue along the coast to visit the Baroque towns of Ragusa and Noto.

Day 5 - Siracusa
Here you will find a 5th century BC Greek Theatre, one of the largest in Antiquity, ancient
Roman quarries and a splendid Baroque city centre to explore.

Day 6, 7 - Taormina
Spend two nights in Taormina, the cosmopolitan resort famed for its spectacular position with views over the sea and Mount Etna.

Day 8 - Departure
Conclusion of your program after breakfast. Depart from Catania or choose to extend your stay in Rome or on the Amalfi Coast.
