Day 1 - Rome/Assisi/ Siena/Florence
This morning depart early for the mystic town of Assisi. Visit the Basilica of St Francis to view the Renaissance masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. Proceed on to the historical town of Siena, best known for its colourful horse race, the Palio and then on to
fascinating Florence. D

Day 2 - Florence
The birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, Florence is a stunning cultural, artistic and architectural treasure. Enjoy an impressive sightseeing guided tour to all the major sights. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure to take in the many wonderful
museums and sites or to just relax with a coffee in the piazza. B-D

Day 3 - Florence/Padua/Venice
Depart for picturesque Padua after breakfast. Here you will visit the famous Cathedral of St Anthony guarded by Donatello’s “Gattamelata”. Continue on to romantic Venice to
enjoy a guided walking tour upon arrival. B-D

Day 4 - Venice
Enjoy the morning at your leisure. Take an optional tour to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello by motorlaunch to shop for beautiful glass works, carnival masks and delicate hand made paper, or lounge the day away in a gondola meandering the
canals, later visiting the many museums and sites. Whatever your choice,
Venice is sure to delight. B-D

Day 5 - Venice/Verona/Lake Como
This morning depart for Verona, home of Romeo and Juliet. Here you may want to stretch your legs and climb to the top of the Lamberti tower to admire the great views or shop ‘til you drop on Verona’s Golden Mile. Later in the day enjoy a stunning scenic drive to Italy’s Lake District for an overnight in spectacular Como. B-D

Day 6 - Como/Milan/San Marino
Depart for Milan, Italy’s largest city and one of the world’s great fashion capitals. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city. Continue on to Bologna and explore this fascinating medieval town. Proceed to San Marino, the world’s smallest and oldest independent Republic in the evening. B-D

Day 7 - San Marino/Perugia
After breakfast, depart for historical and charming Perugia. Visit the impressive Cathedral and the Palazzo dei Priori. Before heading back to Rome be sure to savour and share many Baci, the world famous chocolate of course! B
