Day - Catania
Arrive in Catania and pick up your rental car for the drive to the Eremo della Giubiliana, a luxurious and charming historic hotel a few kilometers south of Ragusa.

Day 2 - Ragusa
After breakfast this morning join your private guide for a day of exploration by Land Rover through the beautiful baroque towns of the region. Together explore the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli and along the way taste some of the regions specialities; Cioccolato Modicano, Gelato Biscotto and Granita Siciliana.

Day 3 - Cooking Class
The morning is yours to enjoy the scenery in the area and visit the nearby town of Noto. Then into the kitchens this afternoon to prepare a Sicilian meal, typical of the region’s aristocratic heritage.

Day 4 - Siracusa
Meet your private guide in Siracusa this morning for a visit of the important rchaeological
area with ancient Greek and Roman remains, followed by a walking tour in Ortigia, one of the most beautiful urban areas of Sicily. Drive on to your hotel on the slopes of Mt. Etna.

Day 5 - Wine Tasting, Taormina
Visit the Scilio wine producing estate on the slopes of Mt. Etna. This afternoon meet your guide in Taormina for a walking tour of this glamorous Mediterranean resort with its amazing Greek Theatre overlooking the sea. Relax with a little shopping in the historical centre.

Day 6 - Cooking Class/ Wine tasting
In the morning meet the doyenne of Sicilian gastronomy, Eleonora Consoli, for a hands on cooking class preparing several classic Sicilian dishes. Lunch with
Eleonora in her home. This afternoon, visit the Benanti Winery where the wine maker will proudly show you the vineyards where organic cultivation methods are practised and join you for a tasting.

Day 7 - Departure
Drive to Catania for departure or continue your visit of Sicily with our Palermo extension stay.
