Day 1 - Madrid/Lugo
Depart from the bus terminal in Madrid at 8 am to head on to Lugo in the Region of Galicia. D

Day 2 - Lugo/La Coruna
Depart for La Coruna for a short panoramic tour to take in some of the area’s spectacular seaside vistas. In the afternoon enjoy an optional excursion to the Rias Altas to explore typical villages or explore the area independently, stroll along the seafront promenade, or lounge on the sunny beaches of Orzan or Riazor. B L

Day 3 - La Coruna/Santiago de Compostela
This morning journey on to Santiago de Compostela, one of the most important Catholic pilgrimage sites in the world. Visit the Cathedral and the magnificent Praza do Obradorio. The afternoon is free to stroll along narrow cobblestone paths while examining the city’s amazing architecture. B D

Day 4 - Santiago/Rias Baja/Vigo
Travel this morning to Rias Bajas, an area of Spanish Fjords, through spectacular
landscapes such as La Toja Island, ria de Arosa and Pontevedera before continuing on to cultural Vigo for dinner. B-D

Day 5 - Vigo/Salamanca
After breakfast head on to the region of Castilla-Leon via Zamora. Later arrive in the monumental city of Salamanca for a free afternoon to visit the old quarter. B-D

Day 6 - Salamanca/Coimbra
Head on to the Portuguese border and on to Coimbra, site of one of the oldest universities in Europe and the birthplace of Fado, the mournful and lyrical music of Portugal. B-D

Day 7 - Coimbra/Fatima/ Lisbon
This morning journey on to Fatima, another important pilgrimage centre. Here enjoy free time to visit the Shrine before continuing on to legendary Lisbon. B

Day 8 - Lisbon
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of the historical Alfama Quarter, the Tower of Belém, and the Monastery of Los Jeronimos. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Take an optional tour to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril or enjoy the day with some shopping in the elegant district of Chiado. B

Day 9 - Lisbon/Merida/Madrid
Depart for Merida for lunch and a visit of the ancient Roman Theatre before concluding your trip in Madrid. B-L
