La Petraia: Farm to Table Cooking in Tuscany
10 Days / 8 Nights |
 |
 |
 |
Indulge in a week devoted to
the quintessential Tuscan experience; three days in
Florence and five days experiencing the unique ‘farm to
table’ experience. The essence
of Petraia lies in the purest and increasingly rare interpretation
of the agriturismo experience, an organic farm where guests
may stay and dine exclusively on what the property has to offer.
La Petraia is modeled after the European concept of a 'restaurant
with rooms', a combination of the highest quality dining experience
with first class, luxury
accommodation in a stunning rural setting. Petraia is a place
to relax, to feel the pulse of
nature, to sense the echoes of history and to enjoy the bounty
and splendor she offers.
Susan McKenna Grant, author of the award winning book, Piano
Piano Pieno:
Authentic Food from a Tuscan Farm, is your host and resident
chef.
