1-Palermo
Upon arrival into Palermo you will be met by our local representative
and transferred to your hotel. Explore this fabulous exotic
city, its mix of architectural styles testimony to its rich
and fascinating history. From the Palace of the Normans to
the outdoor markets, the city offers so much… Overnight
in Palermo.
Day 2, 3-Palermo
Two more glorious days in this beautiful city, discover historical
monuments, shop or sit in a café and try the city’s
traditional pasta con sardines!
Day 4-Palermo/Taormina
Scenic Transfer A private scenic transfer today will take
you to Taormina. Along the way you will stop in Agrigento,
whose history dates back to 580 BC. Admire the Valley of the
Temples, a magnificent cluster of Greek ruins overlooking
the sea. Head to Piazza Armerina to visit the outstanding
ruins of Villa del Casale. Continue your drive along the
coast and arrival in Taormina.
Day 5-Taormina
Spend the day relaxing by the sea, sightseeing, shopping in
glamorous Taormina !
Day 6, 7-Taormina
Spend the next two nights in Taormina, the cosmopolitan resort
famed for its spectacular position with views over the sea
and Mount Etna. Our suggestions: visit the ancient Greek Theatre
and explore the delightful town, take the scenic drive to
view the varied landscapes on the slopes of Mt. Etna, enjoy
the seaside promenades….
Day 8-Departure
Conclusion of your program after breakfast. Departure from
Catania or choose to extend your stay in Rome or on the Amalfi
Coast.
