	Discover one of France’s most prestigious wine regions, Chateauneuf du Pape, renown for its red wines as well as its aromatic white wines… Day 1-Chateauneuf du Pape Pick up your rental car and drive to the medieval village of Chateauneuf du Pape and begin your wine adventure! Visit nearby wine producing estates including La Mordoree, la Charbonniere or Sabon & Fils where you will receive a warm welcome. Your accommodation for the next 3 nights is in a historical castle offering glorious views of the vineyards. Day 2-Chateauneuf du Pape Walk along the narrow and shadowed streets of this picturesque village and admire the Chateauneuf du Pape Castle. You will be tempted by the many wine cellars encountered in the center. Don’t miss the St. Theodorite Chapel, the oldest in the village. Day 3-Avignon Head over to Avignon, an important city back in the 12th century thanks to its famous bridge that enabled crossings over the Rhone river. Visit the Pope’s Palace, built in the 14th century and overlooking a lively square. Nearby are the museums the Petit Palais and Palais du Roure, not too far away stands the famous Pont d'Avignon. Day 4-Departure Check out of your hotel after breakfast. End of services or optional extension is available.
