Day 1-Fougère sur Bièvre 23km A short excursion introduces the 15th century feudal Chateau, located in the heart of a rustic village. Taste wine at the numerous cellars en route! Day 2-Cheverny 18km Your itinerary takes you through fields and vineyards, and a number of villages, via the Château de Cheverny, remarkable for its sumptuously furnished and decorated apartments, which inspired Hergé's vision of Marlinspike in the adventures of Tintin! Day 3-Beauregard 16km Ride through the Forest of Russy where you have the opportunity to visit the Château of Beauregard famous for its Portrait Gallery. Day 4-Chambord 48km Cycle through the rich Domain of Chambord forest, where a stop is essential to visit the most famous and majestic château in the Loire Valley. Day 5-Blois 37km Finally arrival at the Loire river banks and the charming town of Blois, noted for its old quarter and its château offering a brillant illustration of the evolution of French architecture from the Middle Ages to the 17th century.
